THE HIMALAYAS TOUR
Journey Through the Foothills of the Himalayas
A 12-day pilgrimage into stillness, living monasteries, and sacred reciprocity
Some journeys don’t feel planned. They feel remembered.
This 12-day Himalayan immersion traverses misted foothills, tea-covered ridgelines, forest sanctuaries, and monasteries where prayer is not symbolic; it is daily labor. Here, silence teaches. Ritual steadies the nervous system. The land holds you without asking anything in return.
You travel slowly through Mirik, Darjeeling, Sikkim, and the deep green forests of North Bengal, entering monasteries still guided by ancient discipline, walking meditation paths at dawn, and sharing space with monks and nuns whose lives are devoted to study, service, and preservation.
This is not an observation. It is participation.
At the heart of this journey is reciprocity. Your presence directly supports the schooling, nourishment, and daily care of young monks and nuns in training, helping sustain living lineages that continue only because they are fed, physically and spiritually.
The Humanitarian Effort:
$20 feeds a young monk for 30 days.
One simple offering sustains a full month of meals, study, and uninterrupted practice.
The group is intentionally intimate, allowing the land and teachings to work quietly and deeply. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is performed. What unfolds does so naturally.
